Sparkling Crystal Light Recipe!

Sparkling crystal light drink recipeIt has started “warming” up here in Oklahoma. By warming up, I mean it is 50 degrees!! It feels amazing and makes everyone around here think of Spring. I just had to share our favorite Sparkling Crystal Light Recipe – perfect for spring and summer drink for the kids and for the adults.

We had some 7-up that I got for CHEAP with our coupons. My kids love 7-up, but I wanted something better. ;) All of a sudden, I thought… what if I dumped some Crystal light in there!

I mixed it in and it tasted great! The kids and I deemed it… Fabulous!

I love this idea because you can use different flavors and colors of Crystal light to go with your party themes or the occasions. The kids really enjoyed this special and frugal treat.

5 calorie sparkling drink

If you use diet sprite or diet 7-up, your drink is only 5 calories! Talk about a refreshing twist to plain old crystal light. If you are trying to watch what you eat, then this is the perfect treat for you.

Here is how you can easily make this Sparkling Crystal Light recipe:

Ingredients

  • 16-32 oz 7-up or sprite (or diet sprite will work)
  • 1 Crystal light to go (made to mix with 16 oz of water)

Instructions

  1. Simply mix in your crystal light in with the 7-up. To be honest, I think it still tastes GREAT with 36 ounces or more! That way you are not overwhelmed with the extra flavor.
  2. Serve over ice. This would be great at your next party or family gathering.
