Strawberry Applesauce

Strawberry Applesauce
is delicious and easy to make. Fresh Strawberries and apples simmer together to create a healthy snack.

Ingredients

Large Apples
peeled, cored and chopped
16
ounces
Strawberries
hulled and chopped
1/2

Water
1/2
teaspoon
Ground Cinnamon
Instructions
Put the apples, water and cinnamon in a large stock pot. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for approximately 15 minutes (stirring occasionally).
Stir in the strawberries and cook for another 15 minutes.
Remove the pot from the heat and let it cool slightly.
Use a slotted spoon to transfer the mixture to a blender leaving the liquid behind in the pot.
Blend until smooth.
Then the applesauce is ready to serve while warm and enjoy!
Notes
Refrigerate the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5-7 days.
