Ingredients
For the Cake:

Granulated Sugar

Unsweetened Cocoa Powder

For the Frosting:

Unsalted Butter
Melted

Unsweetened Cocoa Powder

Powdered Sugar

Instructions
For the Cake:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8x8 baking dish. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, stir together the all purpose flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt and baking soda.
In a separate bowl, combine the vanilla, vinegar, oil and water.
Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients with a hand held mixer until they are thoroughly combined.
Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool completely before topping with the frosting.
For the Frosting:
Stir together the butter and cocoa into a mixing bowl.
Add in the remaining ingredients and combine with a hand held mixer until the frosting is combined and smooth.
Spread the frosting on the cake. Then the cake is ready to slice, serve and enjoy!
Notes
Store any leftover cake, covered, in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
