Crockpot Salisbury Steak is an easy slow cooker meal perfect to feed a hungry family. Tender beef and gravy make this a delicious recipe sure to be a hit.
Mix together the patties ingredients in a mixing bowl. Then divide the mixture into 6 even patties. Brown the patties in a large skillet over medium high heat for approximately 3 minutes per side. Do not cook the patties all the way through.
Place the mushrooms and onions in the bottom of a 6 quart crock pot. Then place the patties on top.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the brown gravy mix, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce and dijon mustard. Pour this mixture into the crock pot over the beef.
Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 3 hours until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.
Remove the patties from the crock pot and set aside.
Whisk together the cornstarch and cold water in a small bowl. Stir this mixture into the crock pot. Cover and cook on high for 15-20 minutes until the sauce thickens. Then add the beef patties back to the crock pot.
Serve over mashed potatoes and enjoy!
