Ingredients needed - cinnamon rolls, heavy whipping cream, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, cream cheese, powdered sugar

Recipe Variations

  • Add in Nuts – If you prefer, you can easily add in pecans or walnuts. They would be delicious topped on the cinnamon rolls as they bake
  • Change the Cinnamon Rolls – Feel free to use a different flavor of cinnamon rolls. The orange rolls would be delicious with these creamy ingredients.
  • Chocolate Chips – Before serving the cinnamon rolls, serve with chocolate chips to allow them to melt on the warm cinnamon rolls.

How to Make TikTok Cinnamon Rolls

  • Step 1 – Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and spray the baking dish with a nonstick cooking spray. 
  • Step 2 – Place the cinnamon rolls dough in an even layer in the pan. Set the icing that comes with the cinnamon roll packages aside for later.

Step 3 – Pour the heavy cream over the cinnamon rolls and make sure it gets between the cinnamon rolls as well.

Step 4 – In a small bowl, melt 4 tablespoons of the butter. Stir in the butter, brown sugar and ¼ tsp cinnamon.

Step 5 – Pour this brown sugar mixture evenly over the top of the cinnamon rolls.

Step 6 – Cover the pan with foil and bake for 30 minutes.  Remove the foil and bake for 10 more minutes to brown the cinnamon rolls. Remove the warm cinnamon rolls from the oven.

Step 7 – Beat together the cream cheese and melted butter with a hand held mixer. Add in the 2 packages of icing Beat with the mixer until the icing is creamy.

Step 8 – Spread the icing evenly over the cinnamon.  Serve while warm and enjoy!

  • Baking Dish – Spray baking dish with cooking spray to prevent the cinnamon rolls from sticking.
  • Single Layer – Place the cinnamon rolls in a single layer in the baking dish so they cook evenly.
  • Heavy Cream – Pour the cup of heavy cream over the cinnamon rolls. Make sure that that it gets into the cinnamon roll layers for best results.
  • Cover with Foil – To prevent the cinnamon rolls from burning, we recommend coving the baking dish with foil. Then with 10 minutes remaining remove the foil to continue cooking.
  • Cream Cheese Frosting – We love mixing the cinnamon roll icing with the cream cheese and butter. It gives the cinnamon rolls so much rich flavor. Keep the frosting at room temperature to easily pour over the cinnamon rolls.
  • Single Can of Cinnamon Rolls – In this recipe, we used two cans of cinnamon rolls and placed in a 9×13 pan. You can easily make it in an 8×8 pan with one can of cinnamon rolls.

How to Store Leftovers

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and spray a 9X13 baking dish with a non-stick cooking spray.
  • Place the cinnamon rolls in an even layer in the pan and set the icing that comes with the cinnamon roll packages aside for later.

  • Add in the 2 packages of icing that came in the cinnamon roll packages and the powder sugar.  Beat with the mixer until the icing is creamy.,
  • Spread the icing evenly over the cinnamon.  Serve while warm and enjoy!
