Variations Ideas

  • Change of Meat – This seasoning blend can be used on other cuts of meat. We have used it on chicken, pork tenderloin, and chicken wings.
  • Seasoning – This dry rub is delicious just the way it is so feel free to add in additional seasoning for added flavor. Rosemary, cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, dried thyme and red pepper flakes are always a great addition. I usually start with about ¼ teaspoon and add more to taste.

Step by Step Instructions

Combining the seasoning in a bowl

Step 1 – Stir all the spice blend together in a small bowl.

Rubbing the seasoning on the steak

Step 2 – Generously rub the steak dry rub onto your steak of choice.

  • Step 3 – Let the steak sit with the seasoning on it for at least 30 minutes and then grill steaks and enjoy. Steaks grill better when they are at room temperature.

Recipe Tips

  • Combining Ingredients – Combine the ingredients easily in a bowl then place in a glass jar, mason jar or spice jar. This makes easy to sprinkle on your steaks or any cuts of meat.
  • Marinade – For the best flavor, we recommend allowing the meat to marinade for about 30 minutes after applying dry rub. You can even marinade overnight so it is ready to grill the next day.
