These Christmas Snowman Pancakes are easy to make with simple ingredients. We enjoy making these all winter long for a delicious breakfast recipe.

We make these Christmas Pancakes for a festive and fun breakfast idea and serve on Christmas morning. There so many creative ideas when you make this pancake recipe from scratch. These Snowman Pancakes are always a family favorite.

Ingredients: 

For the Pancakes: 

  • All Purpose Flour
  • Brown Sugar
  • Baking Powder
  • Salt
  • Large Eggs
  • Whole Milk
  • Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tbsp melted Butter

To Make Snowmen: 

  • Bacon 
  • Orange M&Ms 
  • Chocolate Chips 
  • Powdered Sugar

Variations Ideas:

  • Pancake Mix – We prefer to make our pancake recipe from scratch. Feel free to make your pancakes from a store bought pancake mix.
  • Toppings – I love to setout different toppings. I love to top with whipped cream, mini marshmallows or blueberries for a fun variation.

Step by Step Instructions:

For the Pancakes: 

Combining the dry ingredients in a bowl

Step 1 – Whisk together the flour, brown sugar, baking powder and salt.

Mix together the egg, milk and vanilla in a bowl

Step 2 – In a small bowl, whisk together the egg, milk and vanilla. 

Combine the dry and wet ingredients in a bowl

Step 3 – Whisk the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, then stir in the melted butter.

Step 4 – Heat a nonstick griddle or skillet over medium heat. Pour the pancake batter onto the griddle to make approximately 18 small circle pancakes.

Step 5 – Cook until bubbles form in the middle, about 3 minutes. Flip and cook until golden brown, about 2 minutes. Remove from the griddle.

Step 6 – Line a plate with a paper towel.  Place the bacon on top. Microwave for 6-8 minutes (flipping halfway through the cook time) until the bacon is cooked through and crisp.

Step 7 – Place 3 pancakes on each serving plate in the shape of a snowman.

Step 8 – Place 2 pieces of bacon on the pancakes to look like a scarf on the snowmen.

Step 9 – Carefully dust the pancakes with the powdered sugar.

Step 10 – Make the faces and the buttons on the snowmen with the chocolate chips and M&Ms. Then the pancakes are ready to serve and enjoy with syrup.

  • Skillet – Before pouring the combined pancake ingredients in a large bowl, make sure to heat the large skillet and spray with cooking spray. This makes sure that the pancake does not stick and is easy to flip.

For the Pancakes:
