- Homemade Barbecue Sauce – You can also use store bought BBQ Sauce

How to Make Barbecue Pork Chops in a Skillet
- Step 1 – In a small bowl, mix together the smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Rub the mixture evenly over both sides of the pork chops.
- Step 2 – In a separate bowl, whisk together all the ingredients for the homemade barbecue sauce until well combined. Set aside.
- Step 3 – Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned pork chops and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
- Step 4 – Reduce the heat to medium-low and pour the homemade barbecue sauce over the pork chops. Simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until the pork chops are cooked through (internal temperature should reach 145°F) and the sauce has thickened slightly.
- Step 5 – Remove the skillet from the heat and let the pork chops rest in the sauce for 3-5 minutes.
- Step 6 – Serve the pork chops hot, with extra sauce spooned over the top.

- Rest Pork Chops – Before slicing the pork chops, allow the pork chops to simmer in the sauce for about 5 minutes. This locks in the juices for a delicious tender pork chops.
