Variation Ideas:
- Change the meat – You could also try making just shrimp scampi. There are so many delicious options.
- Make thicker broth – You can also try adding heavy cream to change the consistency a bit and make it creamier.
- Add Shrimp with Chicken – Sometimes we add shrimp to this recipe and it tastes great with the chicken. Give this combination a try for a change sometime.
- Change the Pasta – We love this dish with angel hair pasta but really any pasta will work. The angel hair pasta just is so light and really is a nice touch with the chicken and veggies. However, use what you have. We have used spaghetti noodles, penne and even bow tie!

I would start with 15 minutes since they are smaller and then you can always cook in additional 3 minute increments if the chicken is not cooked through.
I’d like to try this recipe with individually frozen chicken tenders, but am worried about the 25 minute cook time. Any advice on what time to try?
