Salami Rose or Pepperoni Rose is an easy and fun way to add flair to your charcuterie boards and snack boards. This is an edible way to display your salami or pepperoni.
You can easily cut the salami and pepperonis in a triangle shape. Then put on the snack boards or follow these steps to add a fun touch.

- Continue this process around the entire rim of the glass. Make sure to press down on the salami so that it sticks to the other piece on the glass.
- Then add 3 more layers of salami around the top of the wine glass to form the layers of the rose.
- Then place 3 pieces of salami on a serving platter, overlapping them slightly to form the base of the rose.
- Flip the wine glass upside down on top of the salami on the serving platter. Remove the wine glass to leave the salami rose on the plater.
- Serve and Enjoy – Then the rose is ready to serve and enjoy! Serve immediately so it holds it shape.
- Ready to decorate your chacuterie board or snack tray.
Can I use Pepperoni Instead?
Yes, pepperoni work just the same. Add the pepper to a smaller glass like a shot glass and add the pepperoni slices just like you do for salami.
Turn the glass upside down and place it on cheese board. I like adding both salami roses and pepperoni roses so it gives the board dimension.
Tips for a Charcuterie Board:
- Use a board with an edge. It will make it SO much easier to put together and get the ingredients to stay in place.
- These are best served immediately or fairly soon after putting together.
- Try to include a variety of fruits, deli meats, cheeses and crackers. Not only does it look pretty to have a nice selection but it will ensure your guest have options to choose from. Everyone will enjoy several variety of cheeses and sliced meats.
- Flip the glass – After you have placed the meat around the glass flip the glass on the board.
