Expert Tips

  • Prepping Veggies – This recipe like many calls for diced onions. Another time saving tip is to use a small food chopper or food processor to quickly and easily chop the onions. Learn and  how to freeze onions and also how to freeze peppers to save so much time in the kitchen.
  • Preparing Baking Sheet – We like to spray the baking sheet with cooking spray to easily serve and make cleanup a breeze. But you can also layer the pan with aluminum foil.

Topping Ideas

Just use what your family loves the most! These are so delicious for game day, movie night, parties and more!

Frequently Asked Questions

What Temperature Should Nachos be Cooked At?

Bake in oven at 375 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly. Cooking time will vary so watch closely so tortilla chips do not burn.

How to Make Nachos in the Oven not Soggy?

We recommend using sturdy, thicker tortilla chips when making nachos in the oven. This allows them to hold the toppings while baking in the oven.

How to Store Leftover Nachos

Nachos are best served immediately. So we recommend to make what your family will eat. If you do have leftovers, you can store in an airtight container for 1-2 days in the refrigerator. Reheat in the oven but the chips may not be as crispy as they were when you baked them the first time.
