Fanta Ice Cream Float

This Orange Ice Cream Float is so quick and and easy! You will wonder why you didn’t make it sooner. The kids love it and I must admit, I was pretty impressed too.

The vanilla ice cream goes perfectly with the orange soda. Yum! It’s the best treat ever. Perfect for a hot day to cool everyone off. It’s incredibly simple to make and inexpensive too. My kind of treat.

I think the orange with the vanilla ice cream taste like one of those Creamsicle bars. Anyone else love those too?

If you are the house where all the kids go, you know snacks can get expensive. Treat everyone to one of these floats the next time you have a house full! It is sure to be a hit with everyone and won’t break the bank to feed a crowd.

Variation ideas:

  • Grape Soda and Vanilla Ice Cream
  • Coke and Vanilla Ice Cream
  • Cream Soda and Cookie and Cream Ice Cream
  • Lemon Lime Soda and Strawberry Ice Cream
  • Strawberry Fanta and vanilla ice cream
  • Root Beer and add a scoop of vanilla ice cream

Topping ideas:

If you love ice cream, try this fun treat. It is easy to make and tastes amazing. Fanta floats are always a hit.

How to serve:

We used mason jars but the floats would be pretty in ice cream float glasses. You might also want to grab a few of the longer straws. I like to get the ones in fun designs but any will do.

Sometimes, you can find pretty glasses at the dollar store too. I’m always looking for a good deal.

We just loved this easy and delicious dessert. It is perfect for an after school treat or on a HOT Saturday afternoon. Really it is good anytime. We all just love it!

Now we are experimenting with different types of floats and it’s so much fun! This would also be a really cool idea for a party. You could have all sorts of different soda and ice cream.

Great for parties!

I think people would love making their own float. Set out a bunch of cups and everyone can just make what they prefer. So fun and really inexpensive too.

We were actually swimming the last time we made these and and it didnโ€™t take much work to get the kids out of the pool to try these ice cream floats. They were all eager to try them.

Every single person loved it and asked for more! It’s rare everyone likes the same thing around here. But we are all fans of ice cream floats. They are just so yummy!
