Frequently Asked Questions

Can I Make Pecan Pie Bars in Advance?

Yes, this is the perfect dessert to make in advance. Since these dessert bars need time to cool before slicing, we like to prepare the night before serving. We leave them in the pan uncut and place in the fridge until ready to slice and serve.

How to Store Leftover Pecan Pie Bars

We like to store the leftover in the refrigerator as they are easy to slice. But you can leave them out at room temperature but the filling might get gummy.

Can I Freeze Pecan Pie Bars?

Yes, you can freeze these pecan pie bars. I like to wrap them individually in plastic wrap and place in a freezer safe container. They will stay fresh for up to 3 months. Make sure they have cooled to room temperature before wrapping and storing.
