Mixing the ingredients together in the slow cooker

Step 4 – Cover the crockpot and cook on LOW heat for 2-3 hours, or until the cheese is melted and the dip is heated through. Stir the dip well before serving. It is ready to serve with your favorite dippers.

Recipe Tips

  • Cooking Time – The 2-3 hour cooking time on low ensures that the cheeses melt fully and the flavors blend, without the risk of burning or separating. The dip may be ready sooner depending on your specific crockpot; it’s a good idea to check at the 2-hour mark.
  • Stir Ingredients – As the ingredients are cooking in the slow cooker, we recommend stirring occasionally to make sure everything blends. Keep on warm setting when serving at your next super bowl party or gathering.
  • Cream Cheese – Before mixing the ingredients, make sure you start with softened cream cheese. This helps to melt the cream cheese to create a smooth and creamy texture.
  • Crock Pot – We used a 6 quart slow cooker, but you can easily use a large size if you are doubling the recipe.
