Slow Cooker Lasagna Tips:
- Marinara Sauce – We recommend using your favorite marinara sauce. There are so many to choose from and the added flavor really brings the ingredients together.
- Uncooked Noodles – Use regular uncook lasagna noodles to prepare the meal. You can use wheat or white lasagna noodles and they both taste great.
- Let lasagna Rest – After cooking lasagna, make sure you let it rest for at least 20 minutes. This makes it easier to slice and serve.
Can you make this Vegetarian?
Yes, you can. Just omit the ground beef. You can add in some additional vegetables such as zucchini and you wonโt miss the meat.
Variation Ideas:
- Change the Meat – You can use ground beef and ground turkey together if you want. I have even added in some ground sausage.
- Add Ricotta Cheese – Add a spoonful of ricotta cheese to the top of the noodles for added cheese flavor.
- Add in Some Vegetables – We love to sneak in some vegetables. This is a great way to add some spinach.
How to Store Leftovers:
This Crock Pot Turkey Lasagna makes a large portion. So we normally have leftovers even with my large family. You can refrigerate in an airtight container for about 4-5 days. This is a perfect leftover meal that you can enjoy the next night.

We senior citizens that are alone trying to cook for one really need help. We all end up living on TV dinners or things we try to cook and have to eat it for days. I personally have tried to cut down receipts but they never taste right. We all end up throwing out so much food or just eating whatever. Is there anything you could do to help us with. Just bread alone u end up throwing out half a loaf or try freezing it and it becomes dry. We canโt even buy a pkg of saltines as there are way too many in pkg. why canโt they make food to buy for one or two people other than frozen dinners that taste like cardboard. Thanks for your help
