  • Au Jus Gravy Mix – This is a great addition to this tender steak bites recipe as it adds flavor and thickness to the texture.
  • Fresh Herbs – Feel free to add in fresh herbs to this dish. Fresh parsley, fresh rosemary or fresh thyme is a great addition. We have even added in red pepper flakes for a kick of flavor.

  • Step 1 – Cut round steak in about one inch bite size pieces and place in slow cooker.
  • Step 2 – Then pour beef broth over meat.
  • Step 3 – Top with onion and garlic, salt and pepper.
  • Step 4 – Then top with butter
  • Step 5 – Place lid on crock pot to begin cooking.

Easy to prepare and quite versatile as you can use your favorite cut or whatever is on sale. I’m certain that you could change the seasoning and still end up with an amazing dish. My family LOVES it! We serve it with macaroni and cheese, sauteรฉd asparagus and some sauteรฉd mushrooms. So glad that I decided to give it a try… definitely one of our go-to favorites for busy week nights.

Don’t like that the meat doesn’t have any color to it. No color equals no taste. There’s some flavor to the meat ,but not like we like. Will makes this again but in a different way.

  17. Carrie Barnard says:

I did not stir this while it was cooking.
