Expert Tips

  • Slow Cooking Drumsticks – Allow the slow cooker to cook the BBQ chicken legs and avoid lifting the lid of the crockpot. There is no need to flip the chicken drumsticks while they are slow cooking.
  • Crispy Texture – To obtain that crispy texture we recommend broiling the chicken drumsticks after cooking in the slow cooker.
  • Baking Sheet – Before placing the drumsticks on the baking sheet, line it with aluminum foil or parchment paper. This helps to prevent the drumsticks from sticking to the baking sheet and makes cleanup a breeze.
