Expert Tips
- Combining Ingredients – Combine the flour mixture and wet ingredients until combine. Make sure not to overmix the biscuit dough.
- Cutting Biscuits – If you do not have a biscuit cutter, you can also use a glass to cut the biscuits. For best results, try to make the biscuits about the same size. This allows them to cook about the same time.
- Cooking Time – Baking time will vary depending on the size of your biscuits and your oven.
- Unsalted Butter – Before mixing in the butter slices, you want the butter to be cold. I like to put in the freezer for an hour for best results.
