Today we are changing it up a bit and making a delicious Cast Iron Skillet Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe. This is great for a quick weeknight dessert but fancy enough to bring to a family gathering.

How to Make Skillet Cookie
- Step 1 – Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prep cast iron skillet with baking spray.
Step 2 – Add all purpose flour, baking soda and salt together in a small bowl.
Step 3 – With an electric mixer beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in a bowl until creamy. Now add one egg at a time, beating well after each addition. Then add in the flour mixture.
Step 4 – Add the chocolate chips into the cookie dough.
Step 5 – Mix the batter with the chocolate chips.
- Step 6 – Press the cookie dough evenly into the skillet. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Step 7 – Cool in the skillet to cool completely. We love to top with vanilla ice cream.
