How to Make Brown Sugar Banana Bread
- Step 1 – Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and spray a 9X5 loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray.
Step 2 – Place the bananas in a large mixing bowl and mash them bananas.
Step 3 – Stir in the melted butter, brown sugar, egg and vanilla extract until well combined. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
Step 4 – Slowly whisk the flour mixture into the banana mixture until just combined and there are no lumps.
Step 5 – Pour the batter into the loaf pan.
- Step 6 – Bake for 50-55 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean. Closely watch the bread and if the top starts getting too brown, lightly tint the bread with aluminum foil.
- Step 7 – Let the pan cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes and then carefully remove the bread from the loaf pan and let the bread cool completely on a wire rack.
