I always make pancakes from scratch, but with little kids it isn’t always convenient to make individual pancakes. This was perfect. They helped me make them and into the oven they went – no babysitting required. The taste is great and not too sweet considering you normally put syrup on them. Yum!

Yes they will be thicker. You will need to increase the recipe. Come back and let us know how it turned out.

  5. Annie F. says:

These are always a hit with friends and they’re easy to serve families in need of meals at church. I wish these could be thicker. If I doubled the recipe and put it in a 9×13 and cooked a little longer, so you think it would turn out the same but more dense? Thanks for your time and feedback.

  16. Laura H says:

Baked pancakes are one of my kids’ favorites too. Like you, I did this because we have a large family and I just decided to try it one day when my kids were little. I use a rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper to give me a few more pancakes at a time. Endless flavor possibilities and add-ins and like you said, soooo much easier than standing over a griddle for half the morning. Thanks for sharing your recipe. I’m trying it next!

  17. Carrie says:

Yes, I think that would work fine. I just usually use the homemade mix instead. Thanks!

  18. Leah Williams says:

Could you use boxed pancake mix?

This is just like my regular recipe but I never thought to put it in a pan and try baking it! I added mini M&Ms and chopped pecans, at the kiddo’s birthday request, and lightly melted strawberry jam to drizzle over top, instead of syrup! SO TASTY!!!

  20. Carrie says:

Great to hear and thanks for sharing the changes you made to the recipe. That sounds delicious.

I ketofy’d the recipe swapping out for almond flour, lakanto monkfruit sugar, and unsweetened vanilla almond milk, and then added some lemon juice and Lily’s dark chocolate baking chips….absolutely delicious….such a hit with the family! Thank you!!!

  22. Carrie says:

    Im glad you liked it!

  23. Lisa 24 says:

Thank you! These are the lightest fluffiest creamy is pancakes I’ve ever made they melt in your mouth and I used orange marmalade for a topping . Did come out a little thicker so I added a little more water. But these pancakes are the best because of the baking powder maybe?
I’m saving this recipe from here on.

  24. Carrie says:
