How to Make Shrimp in the Air Fryer
Step 1 – Take the peel shrimp and run under cold water. Pat dry with a paper towel.
Step 2 – Toss together the shrimp, olive oil and all the seasonings to make sure the shrimp is well coated. I normally use a medium size bowl to do this.
Step 3 – Next, you need to preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees. No worries if you do not have this setting. Just run it on 400 degrees for 5 minutes. Put the shrimp in the basket so they can cook.
Step 4 – Let it air fry for about 7 to 8 minutes in the air fryer. Serve, seasoned with fresh lemon juice, salt and black pepper and enjoy with your favorite dip.
Expert Tips
- Prepare Shrimp – We like to buy shrimp that has been peeled and deveined. But if you do not have this option, this will need to be done before cooking shrimp.
- Preheat Air Fryer – If your air fryer has this function, we recommend preheating the air fryer. If it does not, then turn on your air fryer for a few minutes before air frying the shrimp.
- Single Layer – Place the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. This helps to fully cook the shrimp.
