- Step 3 – Next, preheat the air fryer.
- Step 4 – Add the burgers to the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Step 5 – Finally, cook the burgers for 6 minutes and flip and cook on the other side for another 3 minutes. The burgers need to reach an internal temperature of 160 degrees F
- Step 6 – If you want cheeseburgers, add a slice of cheese to each burger and let melt for about a minute.
- Step 7 – Serve and enjoy!
Expert Tips
- Meat thermometer – Make sure the burgers reach an internal temperature of 160 degrees at the thickest portion of the burger.
- Add Seasoning – Don’t skimp on seasoning. It gives the burger so much flavor.
- Sliders – Make sliders instead of regular size burgers if you have kiddos with smaller appetites. Sliders also work great for parties. Perfect for little hands or when you need smaller portions.
- Single Layer – Don’t crowd or overlap the burgers in the air fryer. The burgers need to be in a single layer.

- Storing – Store the leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. We recommend storing the burger toppings and buns separately from the patties to prevent the buns from getting soggy. Leftovers will last about 3-4 days.
- Reheating – We think these burgers are best reheated in the air fryer for a few minutes. But you can also reheat in the microwave.
