These air fryer pork chops will be a game changer for your family. We love pork chops whether they are grilled, cooked in the oven or fried they are always a family favorite recipe.

I was amazed how tender and juicy the pork chops came out of the air fryer. These pork chops make the perfect weeknight dinner. I have started to use the air fryer more recently and I am loving how well it cooks the meat.

Boneless Pork Chops Air Fryer Recipe:

Growing up my mom always fried pork chops. It was just the way we fixed pork chops. Now that we have been introduced with new kitchen appliances, I had to make these boneless pork chops.

I made them for my mom one evening, and she was amazed how good they were. I was so happy that I wasn’t standing over a frying pan. Plus I think it is better for you than cooking the pork chops in all that grease.

My favorite part is, my kids can make these too. The ingredients are simple and the process is too.

Ingredients needed for air fryer pork chops - pork chops, paprika, salt and pepper, ground mustard, onion powder, garlic powder, olive oil.

Ingredients:

  • Boneless Pork Chops (approximately 1 1/2-2 inches thick)
  • Paprika
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Ground Mustard
  • Onion Powder (See Best Onion Powder Substitutes)
  • Garlic Powder
  • Olive Oil

How to make Boneless Pork Chops in the Air Fryer:

  • Preheat an air fryer to 400 degrees F. If your air fryer does not have a preheat option, then run the air fryer at 400 degrees F for 5 minutes to warm up the air fryer.
  • Stir all the seasonings together in a small bowl.
  • Then coat the pork chops with the olive oil and then rub the seasoning mixture into both sides of the pork chops. Use all of the rub for the pork chops.

  • Place the seasoned pork chops in the air fryer basket and make sure that they are not overlapping (you may have to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer and the size of the pork chops).
  • Cook for 12-15 minutes until the pork reaches an internal temperature of at least 145 degrees F. If your air fryer doesn’t circulate to cook both sides, every 6 minutes flip pork chops.

  • Let the pork rest for 3-5 minutes and then serve.

How long does Pork Chops take in the Air Fryer:

You will be surprised how fast the pork chops cook in the air fryer. Cooking time will vary but it should be done in about 12 to 15 minutes.

We use a meat thermometer to make sure that the pork is cooked. The air fried Pork Chops center needs to reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees F.

What temperature do you put the air fryer on for Pork Chops?

We set our air fryer to a temperature of 400 degrees F. I find that it cooks perfectly at this temperature. The skin is crispy and the center is juicy.

It is cooked to perfection.

Cooking Tips:

  • I did not flip the pork chops as the air in my air fryer is able to circulate to all sides of the pork chops including the bottom. If the air in your air fryer does not circulate under the pork chops, then you would want to flip the pork chops halfway through the cooking time.
  • I find that it’s best to use a meat thermometer when cooking pork to make sure it’s done without being overcooked. I love this digital meat thermometer to ensure that the pork is cooked to a safe temperature.
  • If you are looking to add a little spice to your pork chops, you can add some red pepper flakes. I love adding it as it adds just the right amount of spice to the pork chops.
  • If you are cooking pork chops for your family make sure when placing the pork chops in the air fryer that you give room for the air to circulate. Make sure not to stack pork chops on top of each other. This ensure that your pork chops are cooked thoroughly and taste the best.

Can you make ahead?

Yes, you can. Anytime we are cooking meat, I like to let the meat marinate in the seasoning. It helps for the seasoning to really stick to the meat for better flavor.

If I have time, I will prepare the meat in the morning and place in the refrigerator. Then it is ready to go for dinner when I am ready to cook it.

What to serve with Air Fryer Pork Chops Boneless:

Pork chops are good with about any type of sides. Sometimes my kids will just air fryer a pork chop and eat it while running out to practice. But most of the time, we have a complete with some of these yummy sides:

  • Air Fryer Broccoli and Macaroni and Cheese
  • Mashed Potatoes
  • Green Salad
  • The options are endless on what to serve with these easy pork chops.
  • See Best Pork Chop Sides for more easy side dish ideas

How to store leftovers:

Store leftovers are easy with these pork chops. Simply place in a airtight container and refrigerate any leftovers for up to 5-7 days.

We love leftover pork chops and they are the best for lunch the next day.

More Air Fryer Recipes:

Using an air fryer has been a game changer for my family. It is a great way to heat up leftover food or to cook your favorite meals. The best part is that the kids can use it more instead of heating up the oven.

Here are are few of my favorite recipes in the air fryer:

Since you are making 2 instead of 4, I recommend using half of the other ingredients in the recipe as well.

So delicious! I tend to get weird about pork and overcook it, so next time Iโ€™ll only do 12 minutes instead of 15โ€ฆbut even overcooked they were so yummy!

Made this recipe for my dinner today. I was floored at how tender the pork chops were. Definitely going to be making them again.

  4. Kathleen says:

Hi, I wonโ€™t be cooking for chops at a time, just two. Would I use the same amount of ingredients as your recipe calls for a four chops?

OK! This recipe is outrageous. It may seem simple but the rub/spice combo is soooooo delicious! It makes a great bark on the pork chops that helps to seal in the juiciness. I should’ve snapped a pic but my husband and I were too excited to just dig in! This is a redo for sure! Thank you for sharing!

Made this tonight when I wanted something different for boring old boneless pork cutlets. My husband is sort of picky, and he absolutely loved these. So did I! They’re easy, quick, affordable, and pretty healthful! I doubt I’ll ever fry them with S&P again. (So boring.) This recipe’s a keeper & I plan it to be my go-to for boneless pork cutlets. The only thing I’ll add is I should’ve taken them out after 12 minutes. I let them cook 2 more mins which was a little too much. They were still delicious. Thank you!

Thank you! I didnโ€™t have the mustard but I used all the other seasonings. Cooked mine in my ninja foodie air fryer and it was perfectly done at 12 minutes. Double checked with a meat thermometer. Served with homemade fig jam and a side of potatoes. Husband said it was the best pork chop heโ€™s ever had. Iโ€™ve already shared the recipe with three friends! Love it! Next time Iโ€™ll add the mustard.
