I’m so excited to share with you this super easy Baked ravioli recipe. It is one of our family’s favorite baked recipe.

Our neighbor brought it over to our house when we adopted some kiddos years ago to help make our life easier and I have been making it ever since. I think once you make this super easy baked ravioli you will love it too.

Ingredients

Baked Ravioli Ingredients - crushed tomatoes, Italian Seasoning, garlic salt, parmesan cheese, raviolis
  • Crushed Tomatoes (or tomato sauce )
  • Italian Seasoning
  • Garlic Salt
  • Shredded Parmesan Cheese
  • Refrigerated or Frozen Ravioli (1 cheese and 1 beef)2 cups of Mozzarella Cheese

Variations Ideas

  • Sauce – Feel free to change the sauce in this easy ravioli bake. You can top with spaghetti sauce, meat sauce, pasta sauce, or marinara sauce.
  • Add Meat – For added flavor, add in cook ground beef, Italian sausage or ground turkey to make this dish more hearty.
  • Vegetables – Add a layer of vegetables such as fresh spinach and onions to sneak in those veggies.

Step by Step Instructions

  • Step 1 – First, go ahead and preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2 – In a mixing bowl combine the crushed tomatoes, Italian Seasoning, and Garlic Salt. Mix together.

Step 3 – Spray a  9×13 baking pan with non stick spray. Place one layer of cheese ravioli along the pan (about a half a bag).

Step 4 – Then add a layer of beef on top. Pour half your tomato sauce over the ravioli, and top with ½ the cheese.

Step 5 – Then add a layer of cheese ravioli (the rest of the bag).

Step 6 – Add a layer of beef ravioli (the rest of the bag). Then Top with the remaining sauce and sprinkle with the remaining shredded cheese.

Cover with foil

Step 7 – Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 50 minutes.

  • Step 8 – Remove the foil and broil for 2-3 minutes until the cheese bubbles and browns slightly.
  • Step 9 – Allow it to cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Recipe Tips

  • Prepare Baking Dish – Before placing the ravioli’s in a single layer, spray the casserole dish with cooking spray. This allows for an easy cleanup.
  • Baking Time – Baking time will vary based on your oven so make sure to check that it has been heated through.

    Karen – Sorry for the confusion. I put the remaining shredded cheese on top of the casserole prior to covering it with foil and prior to baking it for the entire time. I have updated the recipe to make it more clear. Thank you!

    This is easy to assemble and toss in the oven as soon as you get home OR, my favorite, assemble the night before and throw in the oven as soon as you get home! Another one that saves us from fast food!
