- Ranch Seasoning Packet sprinkled on this pork chops as so much flavor. This has become the kids favorite.
How to Make Air Fryer Pork Chops
- Step 1 – Preheat an air fryer to 400 degrees F. If your air fryer does not have a preheat option, then run the air fryer at 400 degrees F for 5 minutes to warm up the air fryer.
- Step 2 – Stir all the seasonings together in a small bowl.
- Step 3 – Then coat the pork chops with the olive oil and then rub the seasoning mixture into both sides of the pork chops. Use all of the rub for the pork chops.
- Step 4 – Place pork chops in the air fryer basket and make sure that they are not overlapping (you may have to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer). Cook for 10-12 minutes until the pork reaches an internal temperature of at least 145 degrees F. Your pork chops will be golden brown.
- Step 5 – If your air fryer doesn’t circulate when air fryer, every 5 minutes flip the pork chops.
- Step 6 – Let the pork rest for 3-5 minutes on a paper towel and then serve.
Recipe Tips
- Buy Thick Pork Chops – We like to buy thick pork chops. Try to find the ones that are about 1 inch thick. We have even asked the butcher to assist in finding the best pork chop.
- Bone In Pork Chops – Make sure you are selecting the Bone-In pork chop. Boneless pork chops seem to cook faster causing them to dry out. With the bone-in pork chops it tends to be more meaty and flavorful.
- Cooking – Try to not overcook the pork chops. Using a meat thermometer to assist in this for the best tasting pork chops.
- Rest Pork Chops – Make sure that you are letting your meat rest. When I am cooking any meat, I usually let it set for a few minutes so that all the juices are absorbs properly.
- Flipping Pork Chops – I did not flip the pork chops as the air in my air fryer is able to circulate to all sides of the pork chops including the bottom. If the air in your air fryer does not circulate under the pork chops, then you would want to flip the pork chops halfway through the cooking time.
Does it Take Long to Cook Bone-In Pork Chops?
It doesn’t take long to cook in the air fryer. I like to make sure that my air fryer has preheated to about 400 degrees F. This usually takes about 5 minutes. Make sure to coat each side with a little olive oil so it doesn’t stick to the bottom of the air fryer.
Place your pork chops in the air fryer and cook for about 12 minutes. Use your meat thermometer to check the internal temperature.
It is really that easy. In about 20 minutes you can have dinner on the table.

Frequently Asked Questions
We usually don’t have leftover pork chops. They usually don’t last long as my kids are always looking for meat to eat before heading out to practice.
If you do have leftovers, refrigerate any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5-7 days. I like putting them in individual containers for husband to grab as he heads out to work.
We recommend reheating in the microwave or the oven depending on how much you have leftover.
I find that it’s best to use a meat thermometer when cooking pork to make sure it’s done without being overcooked. I love this digital meat thermometer to ensure that the pork is cooked to a safe temperature.

Delicious and tender. I used smoked paprika instead of plain.
Great flavor we really enjoyed the chops. We used bone in about 1/2 to 3/4 inch.
Served with rice pilaf and corn. Enjoy
