  • Step 1 – In a large mixing bowl, stir together all the ingredients until well combined.

  • Step 3 – Bring the mixture to a low boil and heat until the mixture has thickened.
  • Step 4 – All it to cool. It will continue to thicken a little more as it cools.

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the chicken broth, milk, flour, poultry seasoning, garlic salt and pepper.
  • Pour this mixture into a medium saucepan and heat over medium high heat.
  • Continue to cook on medium heat and whisk for 3-5 minutes until the mixture thickens.
  • Allow it to cool (it will thicken more as it cools).
  • Once cooled slightly the cream of chicken soup is ready to use and enjoy!

    If he’s allergic to diary, I would recommend using a diary-free milk product instead. You do need a cream-based item with the chicken broth to make the soup creamy.
