What Size Hot Dogs?

What size hot dogs to use really depends on the size of your crock pot. I have found that the regular size hot dogs fit in most traditional oval crock pots.

If you have a taller crock pot, you can use the Hebrew or bun length hot dogs.

If you find that your hot dogs do not fit length-wise in your crock pot, you can lay them down in the crock pot as well.

Are Crock Pot Hot Dogs good?

Yes, our family loves them and perfect for a large crowd. The crock pot cooks them to perfection and keeps them warm until we are ready to eat.

No! There isn’t any need to add water. In fact, doing so will change the texture of the hot dogs. You definitely do NOT want to add water.

The hot dogs release enough moisture to cook the hot dogs so adding more is not needed.
