Recipe Tips
- Brown Chicken – The trick to any amazing skillet chicken recipe is to make sure you completely BROWN the chicken on both sides. You want that chicken nice and brown. It adds a lot of flavor without any extra seasonings.
- Coat Chicken – After adding in the glaze, make sure you are flipping the chicken to coat. This will ensure that the chicken is full of flavor.
- Simmer Chicken – After the glaze has been added, allow the chicken to simmer in the skillet. We recommend using a meat thermometer to ensure that the chicken is cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 165 degrees. Cooking time will vary.
- Skillet – Feel free to use any type of skillet to cook this recipe. We like to use a cast iron skillet because of the delicious texture it gives the chicken.
- Pound Chicken – To make sure the chicken has an even thickness, pound with a meat mallet. This will help to cook it evenly.
