    Absolutely recommend this recipe.
Please note however, I doubled (2X) and used two loaves of Kings Hawaiian Bread (round loaves). I also added raisins. It turned out beautifully. I used store brand Cool Whip. Next time I think I’ll make a vanilla sauce. Thanks.

  2. Carrie says:

I would do half brown sugar and half white sugar, so 1/8 of a cup of each. I hope you enjoy it!

  3. Sarah says:

Do you use brown sugar instead of white sugar or just add a little extra to the mixture? If so about how much? So excited to make this tonight for when my hubby gets off night shift.

  4. Carrie says:

I haven’t tried it but I think it would work great! I would mash them up and add them to the egg mixture before pouring it over the bread crumbs. If you try it, come back and let us know how it turns out! Thank you!
