How do I make Cauliflower Soup creamy?
We love a creamy cauliflower soup. To achieve this I recommend using an immersion blender to blend or a hand mixer. Adding in some cream cheese mixed with the chicken broth allows all the ingredients to thicken up.
The heavy cream really helps for the ingredients to mix well together resulting in the best creamy soup.
How to thicken Cauliflower Soup?
The measurements for the ingredients that are listed, results in a thick cauliflower soup. If you want it a bit thicker, you can reduce the chicken broth. This will help reach that thicker consistency.
If you want it a little thinner, just add in more broth before blending.
What to serve with cauliflower soup:
This soup is amazing with just a few toppings and everyone is satisfied. Some of our favorite toppings:
- Bacon
- Shredded Cheese – Make sure you shred your own cheese. The already shredded cheese has added ingredients
- Chives
- This 90 Second Keto Bread Recipe is the perfect side for this soup. It is perfect for dipping and getting every last drop of this amazing soup. This bread is a must try and literally comes together in seconds.
- You can also use this bread to make a low carb sandwich. I love a good grilled cheese cheese for lunch with soup.
How to store Cauliflower Soup:
Cauliflower Soup is great leftover. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It will last up to 4 days.
To reheat, use the stove top on medium heat until heated through. You can also use the microwave by heating it in intervals.
I donโt recommend freezing this soup due to the dairy separating in the process. It is best eaten fresh or within a few days of being refrigerated.
