Expert Tips
- Desired Consistency – The gravy may thicken some as it sits. Warming the gravy backup will help to thin it out and you can also stir in more drippings or broth if needed. You may need to add a thickener if your gravy mix is still thin.
- Pan Juices – If you do not have a full 2 cups of turkey drippings, you can add in broth until you have the full 2 cups.
- Combining Ingredients – Make sure the ingredients are combined to a smooth and creamy consistency.
- Fat Separator – A fat separator is a measuring cup that allows you to pour the drippings while keeping the fat separate. We think this gravy is best without it.
