Expert Tips

  • Type of Rice – Long-grain white rice works well in this recipe, as it remains fluffy and separate after cooking. You can use other types of rice, such as basmati or jasmine also.
  • Skillet – Before cooking the chicken in the skillet, make sure to add oil to prevent the chicken from skillet. This will also help to create a delicious golden brown texture.
  • Cooking Chicken and Rice – While the chicken and rice is simmering in the skillet make sure to cover so the liquid is absorbed into the rice.
