Recipe Tips

  • Room Temperature Ingredients – Make sure that all the ingredients are at room temperature before making the cookies to ensure that the ingredients combine together smoothly.
  • Streusel – Make sure to refrigerate the streusel while making the cookies. This keeps it at crumbly consistency and you can also make it ahead of baking the cookies.
  • Baking Cookies – Bake cookies until they are slightly browned. You want to make sure to not overbake as these cookies are to be served soft.
  • Combining Ingredients – Combine ingredients with a stand mixer with paddle attachment or with a hand mixer.

Does Coffee Cake Cookies have Coffee in it?

Just like the classic coffee cake, these cookies pair well with an Iced Coffee Recipe but these cookies do not have coffee in them.

Why are my Cookies Dry?

Make sure to measure the flour correctly to keep the cookies moist. We also recommend not overmixing the batter which could cause the cookies to be dry.

How to Store leftover Cookies

Store any leftover cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
