You don’t need fancy biscuits to make these – the cheap biscuits work the best, which makes this recipe very frugal friendly. This just might be your go-to breakfast idea.
I know we love them for school mornings. Serve these Cinnamon biscuits with fruit and scrambled eggs and you have a complete meal.
What you need for lazy day cinnamon biscuits:
- Canned Biscuits
- cinnamon
- sugar
- powdered sugar
- milk
How to make cinnamon biscuits:
First, combine the sugar and cinnamon together in a bowl.
Next, dip the top of each biscuit into the cinnamon/sugar mixtures and place them on a baking sheet with the cinnamon and sugar mixture side facing up.
Bake the biscuits based on the package instructions. I baked mine at 400 degrees F for 8-11 minutes until the biscuits were slightly golden.
While the biscuits are baking, stir the milk and powdered sugar together to make a glaze for the biscuits. You can add more milk or powdered sugar to get the consistency that you prefer.
Once the biscuits are done, remove them from the oven. Drizzle with the glaze and enjoy!
