  • Step 4 – Continue to do this until all of the zucchinis have been coated.
  • Step 5 – Add oil to a small saucepan. You’ll need about 2 tablespoons of oil. Heat on medium heat until it has reached a temperature of 375 degrees F.
  • Step 6 – Place the coated zucchinis in the oil and fry on each side until they are golden brown. I cooked mine for approximately 2-3 minutes per side.

  • Step 7 – Then transfer the fried zucchinis to a plate lined with a paper towel. Allow them to cool (they will be hot) on a wire rack. You can top them with salt to keep them crisp at this time.
  • Step 8 – Then serve with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!

Recipe Tips

  • Slice Zucchini – We recommend slicing the zucchini about the same size so they cook evenly and about the same time.
  • Coating Zucchini – To ensure the that breadcrumbs stick, make sure to dredge with the flour and milk mixture.
  • Frying Zucchini – When frying zucchini watch closely so you do not burn. Use a slotted spoon to remove the zucchini from the skillet to remove excess grease. We recommend frying in a single layer.
  • Cooking Methods – Feel free to also cook the zucchini in the oven on a baking sheet or air fryer.
