Step 2 – Place the squash on a single layer on a baking sheet.  Top with the grated parmesan cheese. Bake squash, then broil on high for 3-4 minutes.

Recipe Tips:

  • Prepare Baking Sheet – We recommend lining a baking sheet with parchment paper. This helps for clean up and preventing the squash from sticking to the baking sheet.
  • Cutting Squash – Cut the squash about the same size so that it cooks evenly. We recommend ½ inch to 1-inch cubes. This keeps them thick and prevents them from getting mushy.
  • Seasoning – For the best flavor, thoroughly combine the seasoning and toss with the squash.
  • Placing on Baking Sheet – We recommend placing the squash on a single layer. This helps to cook them evenly.
  • Roasted Butternut Squash – Oven roasted vegetables do not take long to cook. Watch closely as this vegetables only take about 9 minutes to cook. If you cook to long, you could run the risk of them getting mushy.
  • Serving – For best results, we recommend serving immediately after removing from the oven.
