Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to use gel food coloring?

I prefer gel food coloring because it is more vibrant. Also, regular food coloring is runnier, and you have to be careful that you don’t use too much. Otherwise, your frosting will be runny.

Can I use the frosting that comes with the cinnamon rolls?

That is certainly an option, and you can dye it green. However, the homemade frosting is very simple to make and tastes delicious.
