Good flavor and of course easy! I ended up using some frozen and some fresh vegetables including carrots and brussel sprouts and it still turned out tasty! The bacon and chicken broth provide nice flavor. I added the bacon grease to provide more flavor as well.
I had never heard of this until I met my husband about 4 years ago. He started to make it, and I thought, “Oh, that’s odd.” But it was so good!! He makes it several times every fall when we pick up fresh ingredients at the farmers market. I have added it to the family cookbook.
