So glad to hear it Kathy! Yes, parchment paper or foil work great to ensure that the fudge is easy to remove from the pan.
Was very lost when you told me to line my dish with foil lol but anywho used parchment paper and it came out perfect. Thank you for the recipe
Thank you for sharing!
OMG!!!I really needed to succeed at fudge, after an ultimate fail. Using what was supposed to be an easy marshmellow fudge recipe. The claim was that no candy thermometer was needed. Having just moved from one state to another my trusty candy thermometer had gone missing. This seemed a perfect solution. Well, with a new church group I wanted to bring a perfect treat to the Christmas party. Instead I had GRITTY fantasy fudge. I took it any way and these good ladies ate it and told me it was so good anyway. Tonight I’m going to bring this perfect fudge to Bible study. This time when they say it’s good it will be.
Thanks so much
I, who CANNOT MAKE FUDGE, made this SUCCESSFULLY!!
Yes, in less than 5 Minutes (including time to Chop Pecans) I had a BEAUTIFUL Plate of Chocolate Pecan Fudge!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU..THANK YOU!!
While this is missing the marshmallow creme that I think adds such good and creamy flavor, my microwave’s output for power is 1000W. I followed this receipt to the letter and it turned out great.
Do not put foil into microwave! Lol. Delicious, easy recipe. Thank you!
This is a great recipe!
Everyone who tasted it thought it was the best
Thank you
I’ve been making this fudge for many years now. Not only is it the easiest way to make Fudge but you really have to work to make it fail. You will be so happy because you just can’t go wrong with this recipe.
No you just heat it until it is melted.
Loved this receipt. If the chocolate is melted after one minute, is there a need to melt it an additional minute? Our microwave heats fast. It was a little hard when I did it the second minute.
Carrie

I love your fudge!!! Do you have a recipe for butter pecan fudge that’s this easy??
Best fudge l ever tasted. So easy to make. Shared with family. They loved it.
Made this recipe adding slivered almonds and sweetened coconut….tasted just like an Almond Joy! It didn’t last long at my house!
Microwave Fudge sounds so easy. However, my husband likes the milk chocolate colored fudge rather than the dark colored chocolate fudge.
Can I use milk chocolate morsels instead of semi-sweet? Or should I use a combination of the two? Do I need to change any ingredients?
I loved how easy it is however I think next time I will add a 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla. It seemed in need of a little extra flavor!
I love to try your microwave recipes
Yes, it will freeze great.
Hi , are you able to freeze this fudge please ?
Thank you so much Bella!
Thank you so much for this yummy one .
I really like your way of explaining
You got my heart.
Thanks for sharing Lynne!
This is the recipe we have been making in the double boiler for years. How much easier this is! I would make a few suggestions/corrections: Add a dash of salt, half a teaspoon or so before microwaving. When it is finished, add a teaspoon of vanilla for the final stir. It will be pliable and you could perhaps put it into forms or roll it into a tube and then slice off round pieces or triangles for Christmas Tree shapes, for a different presentation.
Oh I love that idea – Thank you for sharing!
You haven’t lived until you try this with macadamia nuts 🙂
Thank you so much for sharing this super simple recipe, Carrie. It looks amazing and I am sure it would be over the top delicious with some your suggestions for add-ins. I cannot wait to devour this tasty treat.
I made a variation of this today. I used pecans and a teaspoon of vanilla to make a plainer fudge. Then I made Rocky Road fudge. With the same teaspoon of vanilla and 2 cups of peanuts plus about 4 cups of mini marshmallows.
Mixed it all together in a bowl and put it in a foil lined 8×8 pan and set it in the fridge to harden. Can’t wait to give these out as gifts for the holidays everyone loves them and they are so easy to make.
I think the firmness depends on what the ingredients are heated too. If the ingredients don’t get warm enough the fudge will be soft and if they get too hot, it’ll be firmer fudge. The vanilla extract doesn’t affect that in my opinion.
Most fudge recipes call for the 14 oz size sweetened condensed milk. What would it do to the consistency (soft vs. firmer) of the fudge if you used 14 oz vs. 12 oz? Anyone know? Also, if you add vanilla, will this change the texture/firmness? I would like to make the fudge a little firmer vs. soft. Any pointers would be appreciated.
Love it! Thank you so much for your review!
Added pecans. SOOOO delicious & easy????
Oh no! Yes, sweetened condensed milk is needed for this recipe. Thanks!
Darn..I used evaporated milk..oops
I use 3 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips for this recipe. Thanks!
What is the measurement for chips?
Dianna – I used a 12 oz can for this recipe. I updated the recipe as well. Thank you!
No size on condensed milk?
What size can of condensed milk….5oz or 11 something??
I love no-bake fudge recipes. I haven’t yet gotten around to adding chopped nuts to mine, but have made several variations with white morsels, and candy toppings. I look forward to giving this one a try. Thanks for posting.
I wanted to try this recipe but it doesn’t say what size can of milk.
What size can of condensed milk do you use?
what size condensed milk. I have a 14oz can.
What size can of milk?
I like to use wax paper instead of foil, and also add 1 tsp. of vanilla.
The sweetened condensed milk makes the fudge so smooth.
can you use sweetened condensed coconut milk
