Expert Tips
- Skillet Recommendation – We use a cast iron skillet and it’s perfect for this recipe. I have the Lodge cast iron skillet but you can see all the different brands here. Cast iron is amazing! You can make so many different recipes and they are great for skillet recipes.
- Pasta – Cook pasta in a large pot of boiling water until pasta is al dente or according to the pasta package.
- Chicken – Use a meat thermometer to check the chickens internal temperature. The internal temperature should reach 165 degrees when the chicken is fully cooked.
Serving Suggestions
We like to serve this with a side salad. I think a light salad balances the cream sauce perfectly. The sauce is so delicious so you will want something to dip into that sauce. We love Garlic Bread Cheese Sticks Recipe and it is perfect for getting every last bit of that amazing sauce.
No worries if you don’t have time to make the bread. Another idea is to just pick up a loaf at the bakery or grocery store and it will be just as amazing.

I prepared this for dinner. It was quick, easy and delicious. My favorite Mary
This recipe is amazing and so easy! I used a can of diced tomatoes since I didn’t have any fresh tomatoes.
Great idea Missy!
We had this for dinner tonight with one modification– we used diced tomatoes instead of fresh so we had everything on hand already. My family loved it… Even my toddler. Thanks for the recipes.
